Game development progress


Всем привет, как вы помните я планировал выпустить игру 20 числа, но я переоценил свои возможности. Рисование анимаций заняло больше времени чем я думал, и ещё я понял что взял слишком толстый контур, ну да ладно, с ним тоже можно нарисовать неплохие анимации. На данный момент я занят рисованием анимаций актов главных героев и монстров, на это я обращаю особое внимание так как это чуть ли не самое главное в игре. после этого останется построить уровни которых ещё нет, сделать систему сохранений, и нарисовать пару комиксов (надеюсь я ничего не забыл). 

Hello everyone, as you remember I planned to release the game on the 20th, but I overestimated my capabilities. Drawing animations took more time than I thought, and I also realized that I took too thick a contour, but oh well, you can also draw good animations with it. At the moment I am busy drawing animations of acts of the main characters and monsters, I pay special attention to this, since this is almost the most important thing in the game. After that, it remains to build levels that do not exist yet, make a save system, and draw a couple of comics (I hope I did not forget anything).

И ещё кое что, у меня проблема с музыкой, я совсем не умею её делать и её приходится брать из других игр, совесть мучает, может среди вас есть музыканты которые хотели бы принять участие в создании игры?

It's still decent progress, and I'm glad to see you keeping in touch since going 'radio silent' is a bad habit I've seen many devs fall victim to.

I would like to ask a few things while I'm here:

-How exactly does the "content" work? The earlier posts show a stun system and I assume that's how it happens, but is it random chance on each hit or do enemies have a specific attack to cause it? Does every enemy stun or will some just skip the stun or use something else?

-Most of the focus is on the monsters and other enemies, but does anything happen between the 2 main characters themselves?

-Any guesses for when the demo might release? Not asking for a specific date, but should we expect it in a week or two or are we in for a month-long wait?

-I had some problems with the enemies, there are two types of enemies in the game with which scenes can occur, the first ones just walk and when they see the player they pursue him, they always stun when they attack, giving time to escape, and there are stationary enemies, for example plants, if you touch them, a scene will immediately begin without stunning. The thing is that at that time I was not very good at programming and the enemy code turned out to be confusing, I could not make them too cool intelligence. I was thinking how to diversify the gameplay, because these enemies are too easy to defeat. I decided to add enemies that attack in other ways, but scenes will not occur with them. For example, a turret with arrows.

-There are no scenes between the heroes (I just don’t know under what circumstances they could happen)

- As for the release date, I can say that the game will definitely be released this summer, I have free time now, and I set myself a goal for the summer to publish the game.
